Found a food court which has at least 10 stalls at the basement of Malakoff building in KL Sentral. Since it is near to my office, it might be my new lunch spot. And one of the stall actually sell asam pedas only, a delicious one thankfully.

At least 1 good thing happened despite that angry feeling that I have since morning.

Today I met my colleague-who-turned-to-friend which I haven't met almost a year. It was a nice short chat & updating each other of the people we knew.

In another note, today is the second day i'm taking Komuter to and fro work. I make sure I rode the ladies' coach. Best idea ever! Thank you for ladies coach. And boo to guys who think they have vagina to ride this coach.

A random stranger in the KTM komuter gave up his seat for me. No words can describe who grateful I am for his gesture. I was so tired walking & standing around in my new office. And my bag weight a tonnes with laptop and charger. My leg, let's not go there. That's why I really need this seat.

Past few days I was feeling quite down due to the fact that I don't have a lunch buddy yet. So I made a conclusion that maybe this is the sign that I should start fasting to replace all my fast during Ramadhan. Even though I already make a pact with a friend to be her lunch buddy, but I already set my mind to fast today. So I managed to wake up for sahur and fast.

Alhamdulillah, I have -1 day of days to replace my fast :)

Today my friend decided to follow me back to hotel to see my room. Then we decided to have dinner and we ended up talking about our experience in Miri. She is also from Cyberjaya office moving to Miri, so we can compare what we had and what we face right now. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who has this uneasy feeling in Miri and we shared the same issue.

So we made a pact: to become default lunch buddies. We will include another of our friend that also in the same position with us to be the buddies. At least for now I don't have to ask around everyday who can I join for lunch.

So today my dad send me to office. I love it when I don't have to drive. I love it when I have someone to send and pick me up. Then both of them when Bintang Shopping Mall (the one shopping mall that decent enough here). When they picked me up in the evening, mak bought me a new top, a peplum! So pretty, yet looked professional to wear at office. Thank you mak!

Finally we are eating seafood today. Been waiting since the day I arrived in Miri to eat one but because of Chinese New Year, a lot of restaurant closed. So today we went to Dragon Seafood, one of the seafood place that halal. We forgot to tell them the portion is for 3 people, so we ended up eating butter prawn for I dunno 10 people maybe. So much, we ended up eating it for dinner and still couldn't finish it. Haha

Last week, my sweetheart was here, this weekend, my parents are here. They arrived this morning and I asked them to ask for my room in the hotel. Brought them for lunch and after work, I brought them around Miri town, starting at my new found apartment. Abah already excited that my house facing golf course. Haha. Had our lunch at that famous lalapan restaurant, Muara. This is the 4th time I'm in this restaurant eating lalapan within 2 weeks I'm in Miri. I should take a picture and pasted it here for memory. Hihi.

Last night I called a property agent to find a house/apartment to rent. Renting in Miri is not a nice experience. The house is expensive to rent, the ones within my budget has safety issue. The ones that in safe neighborhood is more than my budget. Deja vu, like Durham circa 2009. Promised to see one house with the agent on Friday, not my first choice but I need to start somewhere. Husband prefers I stay in an apartment in Kampung Pulau Melayu but it is above my budget. Afraid of my safety, he said, he will add the additional amount. Thank you sayang :)

Just my rezeki, after husband said that to me last night, today I asked the agent and she said there's an empty house in that apartment and I can see it today. Went to see it and fell in love with it. The owner was there and I negotiated with him as the price he offered is way above what I thought the price will be for that area. Alhamdulillah he agreed to that price and I immediately said yes. Hand still shaking coz I think my decision was quite haste. But I think this is the best as I have prayed to Allah few times before to give me the best place to stay here. I'm sure Allah helped me making this decision.

Tonight I felt better. I think I made a right decision.

Lunch used to be something that I looked forward and now I am actually dragging about it. Forced myself to ask few people for lunch until one said yes. Tsk tsk tsk. Finally it's sunny today. After few days of raining, a sunny day is most welcome. Met my Mirian friends as they were here for CNY. Had a nice lunch and catching up. Both of them had making my working life in current company a wonderful time. So sad that we are not in the same team anymore.

The not-so-nice about today was, my sweetheart went back to the mainland. Haih... Counting days to meet him again. Like I said to my buddy, I live my life week by week right now.

I really love holidays. Another long weekend in Malaysia, that's mean no Monday blues. Managed to try the hotel huge swimming pool. They said it is the biggest free form swimming pool in Sarawak. Ookaayy..

As usual my muscle memory loaded quite slow today. Forgot how to swim, couldn't hold my breath and whats not. So I did some basic training again at the corner and managed to swim without a goggle. Definitely a new achievement for me.

We went for a road trip! Road trip to Brunei. This was our first time to Brunei and we encountered we funny incidents. But the best of all, cheap and delicious sushi. The famous Excapade Sushi has wide range of choice until we didn't know what to order. The most choices I ever see in a sushi restaurant.  I will go Brunei just for sushi only.

It was sunny and fun trip. I love it.

Brought my husband to eat lalapan at Muara Restaurant. One of the famous dish in Miri and Muara was one of the famous restaurant for lalapan here. Next will be mi kolok and seafood! (Honestly, I think lalapan is just like ayam penyet.. hehe)

Absence makes heart grow fonder, it is true indeed. So much I said time will move so fast that 1.5 years will be gone in flash, everyday I miss my true love back home. However, my 5 days agony was gone as he was lying here in flesh next to me. I'm so happy that he is with me right now. This is going to be a wonderful weekend.

I rarely joined any competition. If I joined it will not required most creative slogan or something like that. My ex-team organized slogan making competition for the team last month. As usual I ignored it coz 1) I don't have time 2) I'm sucks at slogan. But then one of my teammate send me personal email to me to send slogan since the participation from our cluster was very bad. So I said I will think about it and send something to him by end of the day. I asked the newjoiner who sat next to me to join too.

Who would thought that I will won runner up for this competition and I'm not in the team anymore. I don't even join the webcast. I was so funny when suddenly few of the team members that based here shouted out to me saying that I won second place. I didn't even remember about it. The hilarious part, the new joiner that I asked him to send won second place too! So each of us got USD 60. Ok la tu kan... Then, floods of IM from my ex-teams flooded my monitor. They were so excited about it. Haha. I miss them!

My friend (ex-teammate) from Cyberjaya was here today! She's a local here and she's back for Chinese New Year. Instead of taking leaves, she looked at my new office. It felt so good to have someone familiar and you are close with in the small office again. Even just for awhile. Finally since I came here, I talked and laughed a lot. I'm actually officesick. Missed my old offices, both SH and CBJ. Funnily, one of my stakeholders send me the pictures of the dinner last week and asking if these pictures made me miss them.. Teruk! haha

I woke up a bit late today coz my body still not costumed to be 1-hour-early-of-everything here. My buddy wasn't able to bring me to lunch as he has meeting and would have late lunch. So, I joined another team that I have met when they were in Cyberjaya. They brought me to eat lalapan, which to me look and taste like ayam penyet. The restaurant was at some new area called Permy Jaya which is not far away from office. 1 look at that place, I knew that I want to find my house around that area. They got Giant there and Pizza Hut! Things that you never appreciate in Klang Valley. Haha..

First day at new office. New environment, new colleagues, new roles and new process. I'm so glad there are few familiar faces in the office. And they are many of them actually used to work in Cyberjaya and Damansara office. That's good. I don't feel like an outsider anymore. People are friendly and seems nice. The best part, the onboarding is more systematic and have support documents and checklist to refer to.

This is very hard day to find something wonderful to write. Few tears was shredded in the KLIA when hugging my husband goodbye. 1 week only he told me, but that feel so long. However, Allah has given me a beautiful sunset that can be seen from my room to cheer me up. Then I tried making my room comfortable and liveable, now I am ready for the first day at new office tomorrow.

It was packed today. Firstly the car mover came and then 2 hours after that the household mover came. All the items have been packed and now on their way to their new place. Despite all the chaos, mak and abah came to pass abah's IC copy and then we went for a lunch. After this I will meet my parents at Miri airport 2 weeks from now. Hihi.

While the KL folks having their public holiday today, we in Selangor have to work. I asked few of my colleagues if they are in this Friday and surprise surprise many of them are actually said yes. So today I was so happy that many of my teammates were in the office. Usually, Friday is like dead town in our department. Many choose to work from home so that weekend can start early and avoid Friday horrible traffic jam.

So we ended up going lunch at the Tokio Cafe in Cyberjaya. I have my favourite food there - baked cheese tomato rice with chicken. Recommended to few people and ended up being their favourite too. Haha. The dessert there was good, so we decided to buy few pieces of cakes and eat it at tea time. At 4pm, everyone was like let's eat cake. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we only managed to eat at 5pm. What a great day to end my role in Cyberjaya. Cakes and friends.

I managed to clean up my drawers and table, and all my 1.5 years life in Cyberjaya was packed into 1 large Ikea blue bag. So sad that I'm leaving Cyberjaya. The place that I always fond of. At the same time, I'm so happy that I going to another new adventure.

Finally the event that I have been part of the committee was held tonight. Never in my life being called twice on the stage in any company's dinner. Didn't win any lucky draw (not a surprise) but managed to win a Ferrari backpack. Hehe.. I joined a correct table, fun and full of nonsense joke kind of table. Played few rounds of Bingo while hanging around waiting my date to come. The fun part was the casino aclove. Everyone was given monopoly money to play and I realized why I shouldn't gamble. I'm such a bad luck at gambling. Haha. Everything went well that night except the blackout in the middle of a performance. Uh huh..(Wonder what the hotel will compensate us)

My PM was so determined to have a farewell lunch with me though many others didn't have free time to join. It was supposed to be just 3 of us but end up become 6 people. Good thing that my previous buddy was in town. She's one of the best buddy I ever had. Had lunch at BSC (SH favourite place for lunch) and it was packed with laughter. I had so much fun.

Coming home with throbbing migraine and wrapped ankle, I placed my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes, smelling familiar comforting scent, placing my hand on his chest, while he wrapped his arms around me, my headaches slowly subsided and mental calmness started overcoming my whole day stress... this is my daily dose of medicine...

Love the fact that I'm able to get this Selangor public holiday before I have to follow another state's holiday. Took this opportunity to go out with my mom to this mall in USJ called The USJ City or something like that to find a bed to bring to new house. Mak said this is a gift for me. Yeay!

My mother-in-law gave me a beautiful maxi dress that I can envision myself wearing it for on of the dinner. Then went to Paradigm Mall to get some stuff and ended up buying a pair of shoes. A nice comfortable one for 50% less. Praying this shoes will not hurt my feet (desperately need shoes that not hurt my ankle and the brand is not Scholl - I feel like a makcik wearing only Scholl).

2 weeks ago I send an email to my business to have a final lunch together with them before I move. So today we went to Dancing Fish at BSC. My second time here, the food is good and so is the service. But the best part was the people who joined the lunch. They are the reason I enjoy doing my works. Sometimes they can be annoying, sending request today and want it today. However they are actually nice people. When I was feeling down, their room was always my target. Half hour there and I'll be laughing non-stop. I'm so glad that I get to meet people like this while working here.

Today my ex-teammates from my previous role organized a farewell dinner for me and also celebrating the marriage of one of the colleague. I don't know how but my previous boss really know how to unite us that no matter where we go after that team has been dismissed, we will always come back together to celebrate occasions. We are so close to each other even though we worked with each other shorter than the current team we are now. I actually been in this team less than 6 months yet they are the one that I close with in office.

It was so good to meet one of my close friend in office that has resigned 2 months ago. Missed her and so much to catch up. This is the bunch of people that I will miss when I move.

My Spritzer water dispenser has arrived! Did you know that you actually can spritzer water online and they will send directly to your house for free (around Klang Valley). Yup I just knew about it. While debating what kettle to bring to my new place, I stumbled into this hot and cold dispenser from Spritzer. I was thinking rather than buying kettle and another Tupperware dispenser, might as well I buy this.

And... I bought the normal one for the current house to be placed on the first floor. I should bought this dispenser a long time ago! I love it! I placed it next to our TV and it's a constant reminder to drink more water. Now at night I don't have to go down to drink. (Most nights I will skip coz I'm so lazy to go down). Yeay... say yes to more water.

My teammate who also in the same program with me, organized a welcome lunch for all newbies that just joined the program. The attendance was amazing, it was better than we expected. Around 20 people accepted the invitation but almost 30 people turned up. We conquered half of the Kenny Rogers restaurant and giving a huge headache to the waitress to get all the order right. Haha.

I had a blast. It has been a while since I had lunch with this bunch. This bunch always made me so motivated and young. Almost all of them are younger than me and always full of life. They are energetic and because they are all from all different functions, I learned a lot from them about other functions when talking to them.

I used to have frequent lunch with them. However along the way, works and location got in the way and I hardly joined them anymore.

This is the funny story of me. I thought I will be transferred to the Damansara office in October last year. Because of some re-shuffled in that team, I found out my transfer got cancelled. However before that cancellation news was announced, I ran a tender for annual dinner for Damansara office. After the job was awarded, I volunteered to become a committee member even though I'm not from Damansara office. I thought since I'm going to move to that office anyway, might as well join the committee so that I can get more friends when I moved. But when the transfer was cancelled, I don't know should I still be in the committee or not since I'm not from there anymore, now or future. 

Coz I love the team and I have done some works already, I felt wasted to release it. And I anticipate that this is event will be so happening. I want to be a part of it. So I stayed.

Today was the food tasting at the hotel. I love the professionalism of the hotel. It's One World Hotel Bandar Utama by the way. Everything was set up beforehand and the discussion was fruitful. Even the chef came and we discussed about the food. He was very cool with our suggestions and comments. To the staff Rachel and Suria, they are so friendly and very knowledgeable about their hotel. They tasted together with us, commented about the food too and didn't being defensive when we are not happy with certain dishes.

The crowd from our side was cool too. Besides 3 committee members that came, 3 other random colleagues were called at last minutes to fill the spot. And I just realized, if you eat slowly, need to write down the comments and actually tried to really taste the food (coz need to come out with clever feedback, ahaks!) you actually will get full fast with little food. Maybe I should do that at home. Haha.

I overslept today. Woke up and found out the pillow beside me already empty. Heard some noise downstairs and head down. Guess what? My husband was cooking fried rice for breakfast. Yeay!

Went to Ikea for some stuff that will be needed for house number 2 aka new house at new place. Since I'll be living there alone, I call that house my alter ego house. I will decorate it according to my imagination and will forget about maturity, colour coordination and boringness. Almost bought the moon shape light but since it required drilling, I have to forget about it. My husband just shocked his head but very supportive in carrying and looking for the items.

Since we were at IPC already, durian crepe is a must. Yummmssss..

Because of the #KL112, we decided to stay within Subang Jaya to avoid any traffic jam. Be able to sleep in today and cook for lunch and dinner. And finally I send my car to workshop to repair the accident damage that happen 1 year plus ago. The damage was at the front bumper, nothing major but for aesthetic purpose, my car getting a fix. Next week, I will send my car for service, repair my second and third brake light (apparently only 1 brake light is working - I didn't notice!) and give it some wash.

Then only my car is decent enough to follow me migrating to the unknown world. We'll be BFF!

I can't believe doing this is harder than I think. Honestly, this is only day 11 but it so hard to think one thing that make me happy today. It's always either 'oh my God I'm so happy.. I can list 10 things that to be thankful for', 'this is the worst day of my life, I couldn't think of anything or the worst one, 'it's a ok day, so what should I write?'. The problem is always the last one. Everything is normal, with average happiness, so what should I highlight? Ok, like today. It is just a normal day.

I need to focus small little things that make me happy. It doesn't have to be huge.

Alright. Today I found a commissioner of oath that can certified true copy near my house. It took me 3 lawyer offices to find this. Haha. She also very nice lady and we actually had a chat while she stamping my copies.

I always feel good if I am able to cook for our dinner. Coz it's very challenging to cook when you arrive home from work at almost 8pm every day. So today since I'm working from home, I'm able to cook sweet sour fish that I wanted to cook for few days already but always can't due to coming home late. And home cooking always makes me feel I have healthy meal.

Working environment is not always the most pleasant place in your life. Unpleasantness usually can come from the management, colleagues, workplace, travel time or job itself. But sometimes, having colleagues that you can call friends can make it more bearable. My few close colleagues that I call friend, you definitely make difficult situation that I'm facing manageable.
